About the Practice

We aim to provide high quality modern dentistry for all the family in comfortable surroundings. We base all our treatment plans on the principle that teeth can be saved.

Our philosophy is based on the premise that dental decay and periodontal (gum) disease are no longer inevitable. With current treatment techniques and sound professional advice, natural teeth and supporting tissues can, in most cases, be kept in a healthy state for a lifetime. There are situations were we have to accept tooth loss or indeed after careful consideration and consultation with the dentist, a patient may elect for tooth removal. In proposing treatment we will always take account of your wishes. We will explain options, where appropriate, and costs, so that you can make an informed choice

The practice is committed to setting and maintaining high standards in clinical and non-clinical areas of our practice. Both dentists and staff undertake continuous professional development in the form of training courses and private study.

We screen all patients for mouth cancer at routine checkups.

Within each working day we leave aside time just before lunch for the provision of emergency treatment. If you should have a problem, please phone the practice at the earliest opportunity and we can arrange to see you during emergency time on that day. If you cannot make that time we will try to see you as soon as possible. We will do our best to see you that same day.

Out of hours emergency cover at weekend is provided by a local rota of dental practices who deal with emergencies out of normal hours

New patients or visitors to the area requiring emergency treatment are always very welcome. Please telephone the surgery after 10:30am. Priority is given to our registered patients but we are able to arrange appointments.

We regularly ask patients for their views on our services, We have a policy for dealing promptly with patient complaints and suggestions.

We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm.

We can be found in the centre of Windermere, opposite “The Corner Shop” gift shop and near to “Renoirs” coffee shop. There is a convenient “pay and display” car park nearby on Broad Street and some street parking in the village centre.
